open book

I am an open book for the most part which recently has been my biggest flaw. I tend to open up to the wrong people thinking that maybe they would care anout anything I had to say; but in reality my plans, aspirations, feelings, thoughts, weaknesses were a big joke. I think generally as people at some point we have become vulnerable and opened up to the wrong people. generally the ones with a nice mask on. We begin to trust the wrong people with our thoughts and word, 99% of the time we have grown so desperate to be heard that we settle for the enemy; who is only there to tear your dreams apart. My friend had made a good point during class: "Don't go out searching for someone to help you and be a friend because those people are always the ones to screw you over. The ones that will truly be there are people who you least expect and ones who feel the same pain, and have gone through the same trials and tribulations, and have the same faults as you. we tend to reach out to people who knows what its like to go through something. Just remember you aren't alone, there are people who face obstacles everyday of their lives.
